Two websites for Vinnytsia City Council: Camino Podolico and Yerusalimka

Introduction

Sometimes people come to us to create a website. And sometimes—to preserve history and share it with the world. This is exactly the challenge we accepted from the Department of City Marketing and Tourism of the Vinnytsia City Council.

Two projects, two different moods, but one common goal: to make the culture and tourism of Podillia modern, accessible, and interactive.

Project №1: Camino Podolico — a European route through the heart of Podillia

https://caminopodolico.net/

The Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago) is a legendary network of pilgrimage routes across Europe. Few people know that its official Ukrainian branch passes precisely through the picturesque Podillia.

Our task: to create a digital "entry point" for travelers — a comprehensive guide to the route.

We developed a clear structure where a pilgrim can find everything: from a route map to places to stay overnight. The modern design emphasizes the project's status and makes the journey comfortable even before it begins.

Project №2: "Yerusalymka" — an audio journey through time

https://jerusalimka.vinnytsia.city/

Yerusalymka is a historic neighborhood in Vinnytsia with a centuries-old Jewish heritage. The project was born as an immersive audio walk, "In the Footsteps of a Hasidic Boy," and was implemented with grant funding from the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

Our task: to create a portal to another era. The website was supposed not merely to tell about the route, but to lead the user along it, immersing them in the atmosphere of the Jewish quarter.

We worked to ensure the interface wouldn't distract, but rather immerse. The site guides the user along the route, allowing them to listen to the story and see the locations through the eyes of the main character.

Special attention was paid to mobile optimization, as 95% of users open the site directly while walking around the city.

Behind the scenes of development

These projects proved that the best results are achieved when the client and the contractor act as partners, rather than just a customer and a vendor.

The City Council team clearly understood the value of the product, and we, in turn, didn't just execute the technical specifications; we proposed our own solutions for structure and design.

The result is a timely launch of the projects, full compliance with the requirements, and a satisfied client.

Client Testimonial

The best assessment of our work is an official letter of recommendation from the Department of City Marketing and Tourism:
