Salad: How We Built a Unified Digital Ecosystem for 5 Competing Brands

The Salad company manages five popular restaurant brands: Mario, Pleasantville, Roma at Home, Turtle, and Tayko. Each has its own menu, audience, and operational rules. Our task was not just to update a delivery website but to solve a fundamental business problem: how to unite these diverse worlds into a single, seamlessly operating sales machine capable of handling any load and simplifying the management of this complex business.

We didn’t just create a website. We built a digital hub that became the central nervous system for the entire holding.

Key Solution: Deep Integration with the Restaurant’s Brain—Servio POS

The main challenge was full automation. We implemented seamless two-way integration with the Servio POS system, which enabled:

  • Eliminating Human Error: All orders from the website are instantly and error-free transmitted directly to the restaurant’s system. Managers no longer need to manually enter data.
  • Always Up-to-Date Menu: Any changes in the menu, prices, or ingredient availability in Servio are automatically reflected on the website in real time. No more “sorry, that dish is unavailable.”
  • Complete Synchronization: Information about customers, dishes, ingredients, and delivery conditions is automatically transmitted, creating a unified information space.


Architecture That Tamed Chaos: One Cart for Five Restaurants

Want to order pizza from Mario and sushi from Turtle at the same time? For most websites, this is an impossible task. For Salad, it’s reality. We developed complex logic that:

  • Smart Cart: The system clearly identifies which dish comes from which establishment and correctly processes such multi-brand orders.
  • Transparent Pickup Logic: The website automatically indicates which restaurants the order needs to be picked up from, eliminating any confusion.
  • Unified Style, Unique Brand: We preserved the individuality of each brand through logos and signature elements, uniting them under a single, user-friendly Salad interface.
     

A System That Works for the Business: Full Control and Flexibility

We created not just an admin panel for business owners but a full-fledged command center.

  • Flexible Loyalty Mechanism: Instead of standard promo codes, we implemented a sophisticated system of personalized discounts: for employees by phone number, for corporate partners, and for birthdays.
  • Operational Management: Administrators can disable order acceptance during peak hours with one click, and customers see a clear message about when operations will resume.
  • Comprehensive Analytics: The system collects sales statistics for each product, group, and geolocation, visualizing data in charts for quick and informed business decisions.
  • Instant Notification System: Every order is duplicated with notifications via Telegram and email, and integration with an SMS service ensures uninterrupted communication with customers.
