Online Store for the “Liky Chernihivshchyny” Pharmacy Chain

“Liky Chernihivshchyny” is a pharmacy chain that combines physical pharmacies with an online store, providing customers with a convenient way to search for and order medicines, healthcare products, personal care items, and other medical goods.

The GL.ua team was tasked with developing a modern online store that would not only showcase a wide range of products but also take into account the specific operational features of a large pharmacy chain.

Project Features
One of the key features of the project was the implementation of product availability and pricing logic across different pharmacies within the chain. The same product may be available at several locations and have different prices depending on the pharmacy.

Users can search for the required product, check its availability, and choose the pharmacy where it is most convenient to collect their order. A separate online pharmacy option is also available for customers who prefer to order products with postal delivery.

To make searching easier, we implemented an advanced search system that allows users to find products by name, category, and active ingredient. The website also includes dedicated information sections with a medicine directory, active ingredients, and manufacturers.

Design and User Experience
Special attention was given to the structure of the online store and ease of navigation. The extensive product range required a clear and intuitive system of categories, filters, and search tools.

The design features a clean and light visual style associated with healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Bright accent colours help highlight important interface elements, special offers, and key user actions.

The homepage combines the product catalogue, promotional offers, seasonal selections, and popular products, allowing users to quickly navigate to the desired category or discover relevant offers.

Functionality
The website provides the functionality of a full-featured online store, including online ordering, product reservation, a personal account, and order history.

Users can:

• search for products using different parameters;
• check product availability at individual pharmacies;
• choose a convenient pharmacy for order collection;
• place orders online;
• view their order history and current order status;
• repeat previous orders;
• add products to favourites;
• benefit from the loyalty programme, discounts, and special offers.
   

Automatic notifications are also provided to keep customers informed about order placement, shipment, and the expiration of their reservation period.

As a result, we created a modern online store for a pharmacy chain that combines an extensive product catalogue, useful information services, and a convenient system for searching, reserving, and ordering products.
