Volyn Stock Company: Building a B2B Platform for Managing Complex Agricultural Logistics
The market for agricultural machinery spare parts is a world of millions of SKUs, dozens of brands, and extraordinarily complex logistics. The Volyn Stock Company (VSC) operated at the epicenter of this complexity, acting not only as a seller but also as a distributor for five other major suppliers. This created a massive operational challenge: how to manage data from six different sources, each with its own price lists and inventory levels.
Our task was to transform this chaos into a manageable digital system. We needed to create a unified B2B platform that would consolidate disparate data streams, automate complex business logic, and provide clients—from farmers to agro-holdings—with a simple and reliable procurement tool.

Architectural Core: Aggregator Platform
At the heart of the project was the development of an aggregator system that became the central hub for all data. We set up automatic import and continuous synchronization of product items from VSC’s own warehouse and five external suppliers.
To manage pricing, we created a flexible module that allows applying individual percentage markups to each supplier’s products separately. This enabled us to present clients with a unified, consolidated catalog, hiding the complexity of data management behind the scenes.
Intelligent Search That Understands the Agricultural Sector
Every agricultural specialist knows that a single part can have dozens of analogs from different manufacturers. Standard name-based search is ineffective for this. We integrated a powerful analog search system into the platform’s core.
This tool allows clients to find all available substitutes for a needed part with one click, compare them by price and delivery time, and make the best choice. This transformed the site from a simple catalog into an expert online consultant.
Full Automation of Business Processes
To free VSC managers from routine tasks, we automated key operational processes:
- Deep Integration with BAS: We established seamless two-way integration with the accounting system. Orders from the site are automatically transferred to BAS, and all client information—from order history to contract details—is accessible in the CRM module within the site.
- Automated Logistics: After an order is placed, the platform independently distributes product items among suppliers and automatically sends each one a notification for shipment.
- Multi-Level Loyalty System: We implemented a comprehensive system of cumulative discounts for clients and customized discounts for different manager roles, applied automatically.
Result
In the end, the Volyn Stock Company received not just a website but a centralized B2B platform that addresses real business operational challenges. It automates the management of a complex supply chain, simplifies the procurement process for clients, reduces the workload on managers, and provides powerful tools for analysis and growth.
This is a technological foundation that allows the company to scale its operations effectively.
