Artnik.com.ua: Creativity Online. How We Created a Digital Showcase for an Art Studio

When the Artnik team approached us, they had an ambitious goal: not just to create an online store, but to build a unique space where artists, amateurs, and students could easily find quality materials, get inspired, and create. Our task was to transform their offline business into a functional, visually appealing, and technically advanced online platform that would become a true assistant in the art world.

Challenge: How to combine creativity and technology?

The target audience of Artnik is people who value creativity and therefore need a convenient, intuitive interface. We turned this process into an exciting journey, where every click leads to a new discovery.

• Intelligent catalog. We have developed a multi-level catalog that makes it easy to navigate through a huge range of products, including paints (acrylic, oil, watercolor), brushes, canvases and accessories. Each product has a detailed description and image, and the filtering function by characteristics, price and manufacturer helps you find exactly what you need.
• Fast and efficient search. We have implemented a search function with automatic selection of products by name or article, which saves time for professionals who know what they are looking for.
• Seamless shopping experience. Customers can purchase products as registered and unregistered users. The cart saves products even if the user leaves the site, and the “create a new order in 1 click” function from a previous order greatly simplifies repeat purchases.

Under the hood: Technological excellence

To implement all functions, we chose Drupal as the basis, which allowed us to create a reliable, scalable and flexible platform that can withstand heavy loads.

• Flexible administration. We have created an individual and intuitive administrative panel that allows you to easily edit content, add categories, products and promotions. The admin panel features include:
  • Order management: viewing, editing and filtering orders by various parameters.
  • Automation: automatic formation of TTN "Nova Poshta" and notifications about new orders by e-mail and in Telegram.
  • Import/Export: the ability to import/export products via Excel and selectively import products from suppliers by ID or barcode.
• SEO and adaptive design. To ensure high positions in search engines, we have installed a full set of SEO modules, which ensures that the site will be visible to potential customers.

The site is fully adapted and correctly displayed on all mobile devices and computers.
