When your audience consists of engineers, manufacturers, and R&D departments, a regular online store doesn’t work. For Microelectronics, we developed not just a website but a comprehensive B2B/B2C platform capable of efficiently managing a catalog of tens of thousands of items and automating key business processes — from procurement to document flow.
This is a story of deep engineering work, where the main challenge was not the visual layer but the creation of a powerful and flexible digital infrastructure.

Challenge #1: Launching a giant catalog from scratch. Data migration and management
How do you fill a database with thousands of technically complex products, each with unique characteristics, technical documentation, and images? Manual entry would take years.
Our solution:
Custom parser development: We built a specialized software module that performed a one-time transfer of the entire catalog structure and products from a donor site. This allowed the project to be launched in a short time with a complete product base.
Mass image import: Implemented a mechanism for uploading images by product codes via archive or external links, greatly simplifying further content management.
Translation automation: To enter the international market, the site was integrated with the DeepL API. This allows automatic translation of product descriptions and specifications, providing a high-quality English version of the site with minimal administrator effort.

Challenge #2: Transparent pricing and expert selection tools
Engineers and purchasers think differently than ordinary customers. They need not an emotional but a tool-based approach: quick access to data, flexible prices, and convenient comparison.
Our solution:
Flexible wholesale pricing system: We implemented a key function for B2B clients — automatic discounts applied in the cart depending on the quantity ordered. Prices are transparent and available to all users immediately, without registration, encouraging both small and large orders.
Two catalog viewing modes: In addition to flexible pricing, we offered two viewing modes: classic “tiles” for general browsing and a professional “table view”. The latter allows engineers and purchasers to quickly compare key product parameters in a convenient list format.
Tools for precise selection: The site is equipped with a powerful filtering system, a product comparison feature, and advanced zoom on images for detailed examination of components.

Challenge #3: Full business process automation
Success in component distribution depends on speed and accuracy. We moved key routine operations into automatic mode to minimize human error and speed up order fulfillment.
Our solution:
Dynamic currency exchange updates: The site was integrated with an external service for automatic dollar rate updates, keeping prices current and competitive without manual intervention.
Document flow automation: The system automatically generates invoices in Excel format and waybills in PDF based on order data, which are instantly sent to the customer via email.
Integration with delivery services: The platform was connected to the Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta APIs, simplifying and accelerating the shipping process.
Result: A high-performance B2B platform
For Microelectronics, we created not just a website but a powerful digital ecosystem on Drupal that became the foundation of their business. This platform effectively addresses tasks at all levels: providing professional tools for engineers, ensuring transparency for purchasers, and automating up to 90% of operational work for managers. It is a scalable solution, ready for heavy loads and further expansion in both the Ukrainian and international electronics markets.
